Literary and Creative Writing Courses

We’re authors who love literature and want to share our passion with young writers everywhere. From poetry to prose to pen and ink, we aim to foster creativity and hone skill in fun and innovative ways.

Our courses are very visual, filled with exciting prompts and lots of beautiful images to get the creative juices flowing. From there we work on decriptions, taking the beauty of art or photography and shaping it into the beauty of the written word. We work hard on literary devices — they are useful and super fun to play with! And of course, no creative writing course would be complete without a splash of new vocabulary to help our young writers say exactly what they want to say.

Our Mission

D’mitri – Professional Writer & Editor

Creativity has always been a passion for me. Starting earlier than I can remember, I’ve been illustrating tales and talking about them to anyone who would listen. Eventually, around the age of seven, I picked up a pen and began to scribble and scribble and scribble – those scribbles were the stepping stones towards the long road which winds into a writing career. Along the way, I have picked up a handful of skills that help ‘bring out the best’ in people’s writing. As a professional editor, I make sure the exact idea in a student’s head grows two legs and walks so everyone can see it! In my opinion writing and stories are some of the great pleasures of life and I love coaching the next generation of writers

Sarah – Senior Tutor & Author

For so long I have seen brilliant youngsters lose their love of writing between the ages of ten and sixteen because somehow writing turns from a joy into a chore. To me this is a very sad thing to watch happen and I wanted to do something to turn the tide, to reinvigorate young writers and restore their passion for creativity. It was in getting my own stories out into the world that I met D’mitri and Ink Wights Literary was born.

We started using Dynamic Tutors after a disappointing set of End of Year 4 tests had highlighted some gaps in our son's science education. So far the tutoring have been great and has helped enormously. Each tutor (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) has engaged our son in the subject in a way not possible with school classes. Early work in Year 5 is much improved and our son is much more confident approaching his 'mocks' in November. Let's see how these pan out!. Oh! forgot to state the obvious but all tutoring has been on line via and this has worked much better than I expected 👍😀

Dynamic tutors have accompanied me from my GCSE’s right until securing my place at Cardiff University to pursue Mechanical engineering. I have to say Dynamic tutors seriously enabled me to have the confidence to be able learn and without them there's no way I could've gotten to where I am. Highly recommended 🌟

Jack has tutored my son, Rhys, for 2 years and I cannot recommend him enough. He is professional but so friendly and my son who was reluctant to take up the sessions, initially, looked forward to them each week. Jack is very talented and explains his methods very clearly. A big thank you to Dynamic Tutors.
